Whenever there is a discussion about health and wellness, I enjoy chiming in to either ask questions or share my knowledge on the subject. I am not a licensed medical professional, I simply enjoy discussing healthy living.
It all started when I began making and selling glycerin soaps back in 2007, launching with only two scents from a soap-making kit. When I decided to expand my offerings, I researched the topic of scenting soaps. That is when I discovered there is a stark difference between fragrance oils (100% chemicals) vs. essential oils (100% plant-based).
Further research revealed that whatever we apply to our skin is absorbed into our blood streams within 40 seconds or less! Well, I did not want to sell toxic personal care products to my customers. That is when I decided to only use pure essential oils to make my glycerin soaps. In 2010, I launched a full line of natural body products called Clenapure.
First, Natural Skin Care
That’s me to the left selling my Clenapure Plant-Based Body Products at a local health food store. I really enjoyed educating my customers on the health benefits of using botanical skin care products vs. using conventional skin care products. Almost always, our discussions would expand beyond just talks about non-toxic skin care to my sharing tips on using essential oils, and healthy living in general.
Next, Overall Health Health & Wellness
Over time, I’ve invested hours and hours of research on how to improve our well-being and lessen the negative impact of nerve-racking situations we sometimes find ourselves facing. Part of my research grew out of a necessity for me to learn how to get a handle on stress due to the negative impact that stress was having on my body. My research lead to the creation of my online course called Natural, No-Fluff Stress Relief.
I am not a licensed medical professional, however, I have learned a thing or two (or three, or more…) about how to better care for myself in the face of toxic and taxing situations. The advice that I share here on my blog is not intended to treat, diagnose, cure or prevent any medical ailments. So, seeking the advice of a trained medical professional is always recommended. However, I do enjoy sharing tips that I have found effective in helping me to better care for my body and mind so that I can thrive in life!
Now, I want to share with you how making even one small healthy change at a time can have a positive impact on your health, altogether. This is the reason I launched my Clean and Pure Life blog. I hope you’ll find lots of valuable, helpful content inside.
Here’s to your health!
